Anaphylactic shock: 2 case reports In a retrospective, observational study, an adverse events following immunisation (AEFIs) were gathered from the Italian Drug Authority's pharmacovigilance database (National Pharmacovigilance Network, RNF) occurred in patients between January 2020 and December 2021 in Italy, a 45-year-old woman and a 78-year-old man was described, who developed anaphylactic shock following administration of tozinameran, pneumococcal-vaccine, respectively [routes, dosages, times to reaction onsets not stated; not all outcomes stated].Patient 1 (a 45-year-old woman): She had received tozinameran [Comirnaty] vaccine, without any premedication. After few minutes, she developed loss of sensitivity to the face and the lips, speech and movement impairment. She had confusion, balance loss, tachycardia and increased blood pressure. It was considered that, she developed anaphylactic shock following administration of tozinameran [Comirnaty].The woman started receiving treatment with unspecified corticosteroid and unspecified antihistaminic.
