Chemical analysis of Calea subcordata yielded three new guaianolides, 8-epi-isobutyrylrupicolin A, %epiisobutyrylrupicolin B and subcordatolide A, which represent the first guaianolide-type sesquiterpene lactones reported m the genus Calea.
