Many of novel medicinally active chemical entities contain a chromene moiety conjugated with pyrazole and pyrimidine scaffolds. In the present work, one-pot three-component reaction of 4-hydroxy-2Hchromen-2-one, 1H-pyrazole-5(4)-carbaldehydes, and 6-amino-1,3-dimethylpyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione at 80-85°C for 50-60 min using [BMIM]BF 4 as green reaction medium afforded 6-amino-5-{(4-hydroxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl)[1H-pyrazol-5(4)-yl]methyl}-1,3-dimethylpyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione derivatives.
