Diameter Distribution in Bahia Forest by Cindy Olivier is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study analyzed diameter distributions in a seasonally dry tropical forest in Bahia, Brazil using inventory data from before and after selective harvesting. Several probability density functions were tested to determine which best fit the diameter distributions of the overall forest population and important species. The negative exponential and positively skewed curves best described the diameter distributions. The log-normal function provided the best fit for Commiphora leptophioeeos, Manihot catingae,
