This study analyzes the creative teaching methods of student teachers majoring in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL) in Taiwan, developing a scale for assessing their creative practices. Results indicate eight types of creative TCSOL, highlighting differences in preferences between male and female student teachers. The findings contribute to understanding the influence of teacher education on creative teaching performance and suggest implications for future research in TCSOL.
