About this document
ACL Cheat Sheet for Networking by bitta.ayele is a document available to read on EtoBox.
An access control list (ACL) is a list of rules that determines whether network traffic is permitted or denied as it passes through a router interface. An ACL contains access control entries that specify criteria for matching packets, and an action of permit or deny. Packets are processed sequentially through the ACL until a match is found. Any packets not matching entries are implicitly denied by default.
