What is Milk Center Empowers War Widow in Kosovo about?

The document summarizes how a milk collection center supported by USAID in the village of Korenica, Kosovo has provided economic opportunity for Hatixhe Binaku and other widowed women since the 1998-99 war. The center allows local farmers to collectively sell 400-800 liters of milk per day to a nearby dairy, providing a reliable income. While feed prices have caused Binaku to reduce her dairy herd size, the milk sales continue to support her and her family, including ensuring plentiful milk for her grandson
