What is Editorial: Reviewers about?
To ensure the publication of a high-quality journal like TOMCCAP several factors are relevant. The quality of articles in TOMCCAP and other peer-reviewed journals depends not only on the authors but also on the associate editors and the reviewers. Our authors provide a constant flow of excellent submissions. Associate editors manage the review process of an article from its submission to the final decision. They have to get an overview of each submission and select appropriate reviewers, matching reviewers' experience and the topic of the submission. In order to promote and reward the highest standards, we introduced a best paper award to honor our authors two years ago, and the best associate editor of the year is honoured annually at our Editorial Board meeting that takes place at each ACM Multimedia Conference. Today, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the reviewers of TOMCCAP. They account for the high scientific standard of our journal by contributing their knowledge and experience and by giving constructive feedback to the authors.
