About this document
Bubble Dynamics in Laser-Atomized Fuels by Michael U is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document examines bubble dynamics and atomization of acoustically levitated diesel and biodiesel droplets using femtosecond laser pulses. High-speed shadowgraphy was used to observe the influence of laser intensity and multiple pulses on spatial-temporal parameters. Four regimes were identified: bubble creation, coalescence, bubble rupture and expansion, and droplet fragmentation. Droplet breakup mechanisms including steady sheet collapse, unstable sheet breakup, and catastrophic breakup were also exam
