What is Understanding Impartial Reasoning Requirements about?

Impartial reasoning requires applying the same ethical standards to all people without discrimination based on nationality, race, religion, class, or politics. It also means relieving individual suffering by prioritizing the most urgent needs alone, rather than other factors. Impartiality is complex as judging impartiality depends on specifying both the group toward which one must be impartial and the aspect or respect in which impartiality is required regarding that group.
