However, there remains a significant gap between the recommendations and implementation by primary care providers. METHODS: Pediatric residents completed a pre-intervention survey assessing awareness and comfort with early PI. We evaluated the frequency of the word ''peanut'' within 6-month well-child visit (WCV) notes from 6/ 1/2021 to 6/1/2022 as a proxy for discussion about PI. We created a clinical decision support (CDS) system with prompts in the provider notes to discuss readiness and plan of PI at 4-, 6-and 12-months WCV. Formative usability testing (FUT) was performed with 6 residents to optimize CDS prior to implementation. RESULTS: 52 residents completed the pre-intervention survey. 69% were not aware of the LEAP study and 88% were not aware of the 2021 Consensus Approach to the Primary Prevention of Food Allergy Through Nutrition publication. 55% were not comfortable discussing PI to an infant.
