The student could collect the gas by inverted delivery using the equipment shown in Figure 2. 2) Lithium hydroxide reacting with sulfuric acid is a neutralization reaction. Sulfuric acid has a relative formula mass of 98 g/mol. Lithium sulfate contains 48% oxygen by mass. 3) A solution containing 0.30 g of lithium sulfate in 25 cm3 has a concentration of 12 g/dm3.
