developed tail paralysis (2 animals), hind limb weakness (2 animals) and hind limb paralysis (8 animals). Histology of the non-BHA group correlated well with clinical symptoms of perivascular mononuclear infiltration. The BHA group revealed complete pathological recovery. BHA animals had significantly raised GSH, indicating the induction of phase 2 enzyme. Conclusion: We conclude that dietary phase 2 enzyme inducers show potential therapeutic benefits in treating EAE and should be examined for this role in treatment of MS.
