A microprocessor-controlled phase-locked signal source: W. A. Evans and R. W. Jenkins Radio Electron. Eng. 48, (12) 593 (December 1978) is a Engineering article available to read on EtoBox.

What is A microprocessor-controlled phase-locked signal source: W. A. Evans and R. W. Jenkins Radio Electron. Eng. 48, (12) 593 (December 1978) about?

It is shown that for the storage of products in a read only memory (ROM) to be used in a table look up method for multiplication, half the memory cells are redundant and may be saved if the inputs A and B are switched by some extra circuitry. It is possible, however, to make use of a standard ROM, so a new type has to be designed, including a comparator, some multiplexers and some gates. This extra circuitry causes some delay, but for a number of applications this may be admissible.

Who reads A microprocessor-controlled phase-locked signal source: W. A. Evans and R. W. Jenkins Radio Electron. Eng. 48, (12) 593 (December 1978)?

It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Engineering.
