This study explores a subcritical water delamination method to recycle critical minerals from crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules without using chemical solvents. The process successfully delaminated the c-Si wafers under optimized conditions, achieving a recovery rate of 98.4% of valuable minerals, while minimizing energy consumption to 0.132 kWh. The findings suggest that this eco-friendly approach could significantly enhance the sustainability of solar PV recycling.
