This study investigates habituation in alpha band power during motor imagery (MI) of volleyball tasks among athletes and non-athletes. Results indicate that athletes show more pronounced habituation in alpha power during kinesthetic imagery compared to non-athletes, suggesting a quicker learning process due to their experience with real task execution. The findings highlight the differences in cognitive effort required for MI between experienced and inexperienced individuals.
