A mother was making pancakes for her seven children. As the first pancake cooked, the children were eager to eat it. However, the pancake was afraid of being eaten, so when it was flipped in the pan it jumped out and rolled away. The family and various animals like a dog, rabbit, and fox tried to catch the pancake to eat it, but it was too fast. Eventually the pancake came upon a pig pen and the pig offered to protect it, but then quickly ate the pancake instead.
