The Sibridge Technologies Serial ATA (SATA) Device Controller is designed to interface between a host system and a storage device like SSD or HDD. It supports the SATA specification up to 3Gbps and includes an optional integrated DMA controller. The controller decodes host commands, handles interrupts and status, and can automatically transfer data with minimal firmware. It supports both the CoreFrame and AMBA AHB 2.0 bus interfaces.
