This study compares the effectiveness of using an interposing layer of fibrin glue versus an omental flap in laparoscopic repair of vesicovaginal fistulas. Results showed that none of the 20 patients in the fibrin glue group experienced failure, while 5 out of 20 in the omental flap group did, indicating a statistically significant improvement with fibrin glue.
