This study compares the success rates of ultrasonic removal and bypassing of fractured endodontic instruments located beyond the root canal curvature in 45 clinical cases. The ultrasonic technique achieved a significantly higher success rate of 84.61% for complete removal compared to 36.84% for bypassing. The findings highlight the importance of visibility and safe straightening of the root canal for successful retrieval of fragments.
