What is Liangshan Yi Language Lessons about?
We worked on these lessons in 2000 and 2001, without any clear plan forwho might use them or how they might be used. Thirteen years later, we arerevisiting the question. These lessons were never polished up for publication, and the latter chaptersin particular could use a fair amount of work. But given the scarcity ofmaterials in English to help beginning students of the Nuosu language, itseemed worthwhile to tidy up the formatting a bit, to make sure all legacyencoding was converted to standard Unicode encoding, and then to make thelessons available in electronic form without any undue delay. It is our wish that these lessons will help to build bridges.
