About this document

NAU Study on Uranium in Piketon, OH by kbarrier214 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

A study was conducted to investigate potential sources of uranium, neptunium, and plutonium in environmental samples near Piketon, Ohio. Samples of soils, sediments, surface waters, and interior dusts were collected and analyzed at Northern Arizona University. The data showed that non-natural uranium, as well as non-fallout neptunium and plutonium, were present in many locations. The isotope ratios found were consistent with mixtures of natural levels and emissions from the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plan
