YOUCAT is a catechism for youth produced with the support of Pope Benedict XVI. It presents Catholic teachings in a way that is accessible to young people, using simple language and a question-and-answer format. The YOUCAT has been approved by the Austrian bishops and examined by the Vatican. It aims to help young Catholics learn and deepen their understanding of the faith found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. There are also companion volumes called YOUCAT Prayer and YOUCAT Confirmation.
