What is Looking for the Elephant: A Memoir about?
The narrator takes a photo with their last remaining Polaroid film. When developing the photo in the dark, they are scared by what appears - instead of the expected spirit, the photo shows a large elephant. The narrator has lived in the house for 11 years and experienced strange presences at night, which they believe may be spirits of deceased family members.
