This document describes the design of a variable DC power supply circuit. It uses a step-down transformer to reduce the 220V AC voltage to 24V AC. Four diodes in a bridge rectifier configuration are used to convert the AC to pulsating DC. Capacitors are included to filter the output and reduce ripples. An LM317 voltage regulator provides a stable 6V output. Variable resistors allow the output to be adjusted from 2V to 15V to provide a variable power supply for electronic circuits.
