What is Sportmärchen, Kurzprosa und Werkprojekte Prosa about?

Ödön von Horváth (1901–1938) is one of the most renowned writers of the 20th century. The Vienna Edition provides the critical edition of his complete works which scholars have been demanding for a long time. The edition contains all of Horváth's completed and uncompleted works together with all the author's letters and biographical documents. The secure final versions of the texts, the exact account of the process of their composition and the critical re-evaluation of many sources reveal a different view of Horváth's work, his way of working and his biography. Edition schedule: Band 1 / Stücke 1: Mord in der Mohrengasse / Die Bergbahn / Zur Schönen Aussicht / Rund um den Kongress (published 2019) Band 2 / Stücke 2: Sladek / Italienische Nacht (published 2016) Band 3 / Stücke 3: Geschichten aus dem Wiener Wald (published 2015) Band 4 / Stücke 4: Kasimir und Karoline (published 2009) Band 5 / Stücke 5: Glaube Liebe Hoffnung (to be published spring 2020) Band 6 / Stücke 6: Eine Unbekannte aus der Seine / Hin und her (published 2012) Band 7 / Stücke 7: Himmelwärts / Mit dem Kopf durch die Wand (to be published spring 2020) Band 8 / Stücke 8: Figaro läßt sich scheiden (published 2011)
