In a retrospective study comprising of 27 patients between August 2018 and March 2020, 14 patients [sexes not stated] (18-111 months) were described; they developed delayed hypersensitivity during treatment with amoxicillin for unspecified indication. Among these 14 patient, one patient additionally developed delayed hypersensitivity secondary to cefalexin [not all routes stated; dosages, duration of treatment to reaction onset and outcomes not stated]. The patients received oral amoxicillin for unspecified indication. However, they (14 patients) developed delayed hypersensitivity secondary to amoxicillin. Among 14 patients, one patient (18 months old) also developed delayed hypersensitive secondary cefalexin. Drug provocation test was found to be positive with cefalexin.
