The Manjushri Educational Project was established by Khenchen Namdrol Rinpoche to provide education to impoverished children in Nepal. It aims to sponsor 20 children fully from grades 1 through 10 over 10 years. Currently it supports 20 children attending a local boarding school, providing tuition, supplies, transportation, and meals. The annual cost per child is $365 or about 29,000 Nepali rupees. Donations will allow more children to be enrolled in the program.
