This document summarizes a research study that aimed to detect and identify pathogenic fungi on prayer rugs in mosques at the Jatinangor campus of Padjadjaran University in Indonesia. Samples were taken from the dust on the surfaces of prayer rugs from 28 randomly selected mosques on campus. The dust samples were cultured on agar plates and the fungal growth was observed microscopically. A total of 8 fungal species were identified from all samples, including Aspergillus and Candida, but no pathogenic fungi
