About this document
Is Knuckle Popping Bad for You? by adil.qamar.abc is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Popping your joints, such as knuckles, does not inherently cause harm. The formation and bursting of gas bubbles in synovial joints during popping produces the sound but does not damage the joint. However, putting joints in hyperextended positions to pop them can cause damage over time by stretching ligaments and other tissues beyond their limits. While popping itself may be harmless, the positions used should avoid hyperextension of joints.
