Trucks with EDC and Scania retarder may experience loss of throttle actuation, causing the engine to drop to raised idling when the throttle is pressed. To resolve this issue, the throttle pedal sensor and relay R43 must be replaced with a diode unit, following specific wiring modifications. If the problem persists after these changes, a fault report should be submitted to the factory.
