This study compares the effectiveness of levofloxacin-based regimens to clarithromycin-based regimens for Helicobacter pylori eradication over 10 and 14 days. Results indicate that levofloxacin treatment has a higher eradication rate (74.5%) compared to clarithromycin (62%), with the 14-day levofloxacin regimen achieving the highest success rate of 80.9%. The findings support the use of levofloxacin as a first-line therapy for H. pylori infection, regardless of diabetes status or EGD findings.
