The AN/TPS-63 was a medium-range, two-dimensional L band radar system used by the United States Marine Corps from the early 1980s until its retirement in 2018. Developed by Northrop Grumman, it provided 360-degree coverage for low altitude areas and was utilized in various combat operations, including the Gulf War and the Iraq War. The radar was eventually replaced by the AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar.
