What is The Ladybird about?

The story describes the animals on a farm - a red hen, duck, goose, sheep, hog, horse, dog, and prize cow. The ladybird overhears two men planning to steal the prize cow at night by sneaking through the farm. The ladybird warns the other animals of the plan. That night when the men try to sneak through, the animals fool the men by making noises to trick them into thinking they are in the wrong places. This causes the men to step into the duck pond instead of finding the cow, and they are caught by the farme
