Figures 7.10-7.14 show the vibration spectra for bearings with different seeded faults (inner race, outer race, ball, and all components defective). The defects were introduced by etching grooves on the respective bearing surfaces. The figures show low-frequency vibration from the characteristic defect frequencies. They also show high-frequency vibration from impact excitation of the bearing components
