This study examined differences in stone-free rates in patients undergoing extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) for kidney stones based on risk factors like stone location, size, density and patient BMI and kidney function. The records of 41 patients who underwent ESWL were analyzed. Statistical analysis found that stone size significantly impacted stone-free rates after ESWL, with patients with stones ≥10mm having a 22.8 times higher risk of residuals than those with stones <10mm. No other factors
