Elevated CRP levels were found predominantly in cases of neoplastic and immune-mediated diseases, while neurological and endocrine diseases showed minimal elevation. The findings suggest that CRP measurement is essential for detecting inflammation that may not be identified through traditional inflammatory markers like white blood cell counts.
