Jotatemp 650 is a surface tolerant coating that provides corrosion protection at extreme temperatures, from cryogenic to 650°C. It can be applied to substrates up to 260°C without needing plant shutdown. The coating contains inorganic binders that do not break down at high temperatures unlike other coatings. It forms a thick protective barrier over long periods even as temperatures increase, protecting the substrate from corrosion under insulation.
