About this document
Egyptian 365-Day Calendar in Antikythera by Amber Gregory is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The front dial of the Antikythera Mechanism had two concentric scales. The inner scale showed the Greek zodiac with 360 divisions and occasional Greek letters referencing a star almanac inscription. The outer movable scale was a calendar with the Egyptian names of the months and Greek letters. The back of the mechanism contained two spiral dials - the upper dial displayed the Metonic lunar-solar cycle and Callippic cycle, while the lower dial displayed the Saros eclipse cycle and Exeligmos cycle.
