The study investigates sexual dimorphism in Aegla marginata using geometric morphometric methods, analyzing the carapace and cheliped propodus of both sexes. Results indicate no significant size difference in the carapace, but the cheliped propodus is larger in males, and distinct shape differences exist between the sexes in both structures. The findings contribute new insights into aeglid morphology, particularly regarding cheliped propodus shape variation.
