Hemangioma is the most common benign hepatic tumor. At ultrasonography, the typical appearance of hemangiomas is a homogeneous, hyperechogenic mass with well-defined margin and subtle, posterior acoustic enhancement. This exhibit will present variable, atypical ultrasonographic findings of hemangiomas: hypo or isoechogenicity with a hyperechoic rim; hypoechogenicity; mixed echogenicity; calcification; different echogenicity according to respiration; surrounding low echogenicity in the fatty liver.
