This study investigated the effect of total dissolved solids (TDS) in mixing water on the properties of concrete. Concrete mixtures were prepared using water with TDS concentrations of 500, 1000, 5000, and 15000 ppm. Tests found that workability and initial setting time decreased with higher TDS, but remained within standards.
