What is Cloud Service Availability Benchmarking about?

This document proposes a new methodology for benchmarking service availability in cloud computing. It introduces measuring service availability as the ratio of allocated resources to requested resources over time, rather than just whether a system is up or down. The document implements this by simulating a cloud environment using CloudSim and measuring service availability every 300 nanoseconds. Results show the sample cloud environment had an average service availability of 58.8292% with a static threshold
