About this document
Thermal Dispersion Flow Switch Overview by Krishna Kumar is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Thermal dispersion flow switches measure liquid flow velocity using two sensors - a heating sensor and temperature sensor. The temperature difference between the sensors is inversely related to flow velocity. Paddle type flow switches detect liquid movement using a magnet, spring, and reed switch activated by a paddle. The paddle pushes the magnet when liquid is flowing, closing the circuit. Models include standard and explosion proof types for measuring a range of liquid flows in pipes from 1" to 3" in dia
