The study investigates the protective effects of Commiphora molmol resin extract against methotrexate-induced nephrotoxicity in male Wistar rats. Results indicated that pre-treatment with C. molmol significantly mitigated oxidative stress and inflammation, as well as improved kidney function by activating Nrf2/ARE/HO-1 signaling pathways. The findings suggest that C. molmol could be a potential therapeutic agent for preventing kidney injury associated with methotrexate treatment.
