The RN HEALS project intends to address the surplus of inexperienced nurses by deploying 10,000 nurses to rural and underserved communities for one year. Nurses will receive training and an allowance of 8,000 PHP per month. They will provide healthcare services to 2.3 million households in areas with poverty reduction and maternal health programs. Upon completion, nurses will receive a certificate of competency and the project aims to enhance their skills and employability.
