What is The Erie and Huron Railway of Canada [microform] about?
THE ERIE & HURON RAILWAY ran from Sarnia, Ontario to Erieau (Rondeau) on Lake Erie. It was taken over by the Lake Erie & Detroit River Railway which itself was established by the Hiram Walker family of Walkerville to service their distilleries. The LE&DR also later operated the London & Port Stanley Railway as well as a joint ferry operation venture with the Pere Marquette Railway in the very early 1900's.
