This study investigates reptilian diversity in the riparian ecosystems of Labo and Clarin Rivers in Misamis Occidental, Philippines, recording 21 species including 11 endemics. Labo River exhibited greater species richness and abundance, with visual encounter surveys proving to be the most effective sampling method. The findings highlight the importance of conserving these habitats and suggest further research to enhance understanding and conservation efforts.
