What is The Dishwashing Bet: A Folktale about?

Hugo and Imelda argue constantly over who has to wash the dishes after meals. During one fight, they make a bet that whoever speaks first after Hugo says "begin" will be the one to always wash the dishes. They both remain silent for a long time, worrying the neighbors who think they have been bewitched, until Imelda shouts when they try to bury her, making her the loser of the bet.
