What is Origin Stories about?

It is strange for one's research to suddenly become relevant, and it is perhaps little wanted when that research pertains so closely to pandemic disease. Nevertheless, this book was completed during the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020/ 21. I am indebted to those who have generously conversed and shared their work with me, especially in a time where library access has been scarce. This research would not have been possible without my doctoral supervisors Catherine Keen and Bill MacLehose ( †2020).
